SHS operates under the semestral system. Its academic calendar consists of two (2) regular semesters of about 14 weeks each. Semesters are divided into two (2) grading periods: Midterms and Finals.

The Senior High School curriculum includes three types of subjects: core, applied track and specialized track subjects.
Subjects to be taken by all SHS students enrolled in various strands. For general formation and preparedness.
Subjects that develop the same competencies using different content based on chosen track or strand.
Subjects based on specific strands. Content and competencies covered differ based on chosen track or strand.
