Please read the instructions before accomplishing the LLEAP Chairpersonship Form.

Grade 11 & 12 Chairpersonship Applicants

  1. Incoming Grade 11 & 12 students are invited in becoming a member of the Executive Board of Officers as Chairpersons of committees in their year level. Those interested in making an application are encouraged to:
  • Seriously consider their ability to commit to the responsibilities the LLEAP organization demands.
  • Review current performance and contribution in class and the LSQC Community.
  • Discuss with parents the feasibility of being able to fulfill the expectations of involvement in the Executive Board of Officers.
  1. Download the LLEAP Chairpersonship Form. Applicants are encouraged to read and digest information stated in the  LLEAP Chairpersonship Form.
  2. Proceed to printing and filling out the application form.
  3. Submit the application forms on June 4, Monday at 8:30 AM during the first day of the SHS LLEAP Formation Activity for Student Leaders
  4. Results will be announced online after the deliberations held by the Grade 12 Executive Board of Officers, the Organization Adviser, and the SHS Coordinator.

Submission: Application forms should be submitted by June 4, 2018 (Room 207)Interested applicants are also encouraged to attend on the 1st Day of the LLEAP Formation Activity.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Committee Chair

*The duties of the members are parallel to those of the Committee Chair.

Secretariat and Membership Committee Chair

The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Secretariat and Membership Chairperson:

  1. Report directly to the COO;
  2. Record all meetings of the executive board;
  3. Be the custodian of all records of the organization;
  4. Prepare and attest to the minutes of meetings;
  5. Keep the members informed on all meetings, resolutions and activities of the organization;
  6. Manage and keep all the organization’s documents and archives for the whole school year;
  7. Certify the correctness and authenticity of the official resolutions of the organization;
  8. Create the Year End Performance Report of the organization by compiling the Evaluation Reports of each committee at the end of the school year;
  9. Govern the Secretariat Committee;
  10. Monitor the general morale, academic, and organizational performance of the organization’s members;
  11. Assess the participation of each member of the organization and their corresponding contributions
  12. Present welfare concerns to the executive board;
  13. Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations as stated in the Student Handbook and this Constitution and By-laws;
  14. Perform such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or CEO and COO.

Finance Committee Chair

The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Finance Committee Chairperson:

  1. Report directly to the CFO;
  2. Manage the organization’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  3. Be the liaison with the auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
  4. Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
  5. Manage budgets;
  6. Perform such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or CEO and CFO.

Marketing and Publicity Committee Chair

The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Marketing and Publicity Committee Chairperson:

  1. Report directly to the COO;
  2. Manage, write, communicate press releases to the public;
  3. Oversee communication strategies via social media and social networking while adhering to the school’s policy;
  4. Mmanage the overall organizational development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations;
  5. Plan, develop and implement all of the organization’s internal and external marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities;
  6. Ensure relevant market research activity to monitor trends;
  7. Document and cover all the organization’s events;
  8. Oversee the distribution process of online and offline materials regarding organization events to the public;
  9. Analyze, develop and implement circulation plans;
  10. Perform such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or CEO and COO.

Audit Committee Chair

The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Auditor:

  1. Report directly to the CFO;
  2. Oversee the financial reporting process, the audit process, the system of internal controls with the Executive Treasurer and Finance Committee;
  3. Oversee the safekeeping of the assets of the organization;
  4. Develop and present recommendations and reports based on audits to the executive board;
  5. Effectively plan and allocate resources and members in accordance with skills and schedules;
  6. Give out tasks and other assignments to the Audit and Custodian Committee and its members;
  7. Perform such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.
