Please read the instructions before accomplishing the Committee Membership Form and the Grade 11 Chairpersonship Form.

Committee Membership Applicants

  1. Every senior high school student is required to participate in the LLEAP organization of their chosen strand.
    1. General Academic Society (GenAdSoc) – Students under the following strands: GAS, ABM, and HUMSS.
    2. Integrated Math, Science, and Technology Guild (IMSGuild) – Students under the STEM strand.
  2. Download, print, and fill out the Committee Membership Form.
  3. Attach a 2”x2” recent picture on the upper right corner of the accomplished application form.
  4. Submit the application form directly to the Membership Welfare Committee Chair, or to the Vice President for Internal Affairs.

    3. Results will be announced online after the deliberations held by the Grade 12 Executive Board of Officers (inclusive of the newly appointed Grade 11 Chairpersons), the Organization Adviser, and the SHS Coordinator.

Grade 11 Chairpersonship Applicants

  1. Incoming Grade 11 students are invited in becoming a member of the Executive Board of Officers as Chairpersons of committees in their year level. Those interested in making an application are encouraged to:
  • Seriously consider their ability to commit to the responsibilities the LLEAP organization demands.
  • Review current performance and contribution in class and the LSQC Community.
  • Discuss with parents the feasibility of being able to fulfill the expectations of involvement in the Executive Board of Officers.
  1. Download the Grade 11 Chairpersonship Form. Applicants are encouraged to read and digest information stated in the Grade 11 Chairpersonship Form.
  2. Proceed to printing and filling out the application form.
  3. Attach a 2”x2” recent picture on the upper right corner of the accomplished application form.
  4. Submit the application form directly to the Membership Welfare Committee Chair, or to the Vice President for Internal Affairs.

Submission: Application forms should be submitted by July 8, 2017.

Formation Activities: Leadership training held by the Grade 12 Executive Board of Officers shall take place from July to August.

Interviews: Interviews shall take place during the formation activity.

Results: Successful applicants will be notified by the end of September.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Committee Member and Chair

*The duties of the members are parallel to those of the Committee Chair.

Secretariat Committee Chair

  1. reports directly to the Executive Secretary;
  2. manages and keeps all the organization’s documents and archives for the whole school year;
  3. assume the  responsibilities of the Executive Secretary if the same is absent or incapacitated or if so directed by the executive board;
  4. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Secretariat Committee and its members;
  5. performs such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.

Marketing and Publicity Committee Chair

  1. reports directly to the Vice President for External Affairs;
  2. manages, writes, communicates press releases to the public;
  3. oversees communication strategies via social media and social networking while adhering to the school’s policy;
  4. manages the overall organizational development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations;
  5. plans, develops and implements all of the organization’s internal and external marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities;
  6. ensures relevant market research activity to monitor trends;
  7. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Marketing and Publicity Committee and its members.

Special Projects Committee Chair

  1. reports directly to the Vice President for External Affairs;
  2. generates project plans and proposals that will benefit the organization and the school community;
  3. manages the development and implementation of internal and external activities, projects and programs;
  4. recognizes risks and solves the occurrence problems in internal and external activities, projects and programs;
  5. evaluates projects and program effectiveness;
  6. research on special event strategies;
  7. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Special Projects Committee and its members;
  8. performs such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.

Publications and Documentations Chair

  1. reports directly to the Vice President for Internal Affairs;
  2. documents and covers all the organization’s events;
  3. oversees the distribution process of online and offline materials regarding organization events to the public;
  4. analyzes, develops and implements circulation plans;
  5. work together with the Marketing and Publicity Committee on promotions, marketing and advertising;
  6. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Publication and Documentation Committee and its members.
  7. performs such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.

Membership and Welfare Committee Chair

  1. reports directly to the Vice President for Internal Affairs;
  2. keeps record of the registered members of the organization;
  3. monitors the general morale, academic, and organizational performance of the organization’s members;
  4. assesses the participation of each member of the organization and their corresponding contributions;
  5. presents welfare concerns to the executive board;
  6. ensures compliance with the laws and regulations as stated in the Student Handbook and this Constitution and By-laws;
  7. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Membership and Welfare Committee and its members;
  8. performs such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.

Finance Committee Chair

  1. reports directly to the Executive Treasurer
  2. manages the organization’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  3. be the liaison with the auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
  4. produces accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
  5. manage budgets;
  6. assumes the  responsibilities  of  the  Executive Treasurer if  the same is  absent  or  incapacitated or  if  so directed by the executive board;
  7. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Finance Committee and its members;
  8. performs such other functions as deemed necessary by the Organization Adviser and/or the Executive Board.

Audit and Custodian Chair

  1. reports directly to the Executive Treasurer;
  2. oversees the financial reporting process, the audit process, the system of internal controls with the Executive Treasurer and Finance Committee;
  3. oversees the safekeeping of the assets of the organization;
  4. develops and presents recommendations and reports based on audits to the executive board;
  5. effectively plans and allocates resources and members in accordance with skills and schedules;
  6. gives out tasks and other assignments to the Audit and Custodian Committee and its members.
